My Motivation

CFO/Ex Mgr Finance Career

CPA qualified and commercially astute accountant with a passion for business developed over a 40+ year finance career in manufacturing, mining, renewables, energy, water & sewerage, retail and health within the privately owned, private equity, ASX and public sectors in Australia and internationally, while working in environments from corporate offices to manufacturing plants and remote mine sites. Highly experienced finance and commercial leader with unique insights into managing the financial performance of companies gained from working in small and large companies, combined with practical knowledge built up leading and navigating organisation’s through financial challenges and complex operational issues.
I am passionate about enabling businesses to excel using high business IQ, strong finance experience and technical skills, comprehensive finance, business and operational knowledge and high commercial acumen, underpinned by an extensive skillset in strategic planning, operational performance management, data analytics, risk management, governance and stakeholder engagement and a suite of data analytical tools to support evidenced based decisions.

  • Roos Club The Roos’ Club is a joint clubrooms and entertainment facility of the Victor Harbor Football Club and Victor Harbor RSL Sub-branch. The Roos Club facility is operated and managed by a Board comprising representatives of Victor Harbor RSL, the Victor Harbor Footall Club and independent appointments. I was formally appointed (independent) as Treasurer of the Roos Club in December 2025.

  • Victor Harbor Archery Club The Victor Harbor Archery Club was established in 2013 for the purpose of fostering, expanding and perpetuating the practise of Target, Field and Indoor Archery in South Australia. The club is located on Back Valley Road, which includes Club Rooms and Indoor, Outdoor and Field ranges. I am an active member and competition participant in the compund bow category. I have been Treasurer of the VHAC since August 2025 and Public Officer from April 2026.
